On 26 October 2024, at 2 AM at EPFL Lausanne, the IEEEXtreme 18.0 24 hours programming competition started. This year, more than 6500 teams from around the world participated.

For the 11^th time, the IEEE Student Branch organized the event at EPFL with a computer room, drinks, snacks and meals. Four highly motivated teams participated and achieved good results. Overall, the teams were very pleased with this opportunity and by the support of our committee. As the participants must be IEEE student members, each year new members register or renew their membership.
